Executive Team

Amy Thacker – CEO

Amy has a passion for rural tourism and economic development. Since joining the Cariboo Chilcotin Coast, she has led destination management, including award-winning programs such as the Gold Rush Trail, Great Bear Rainforest and Cariboo Reputation Recovery collaboratives. A champion for rural Emergency Management, Amy serves on the provincial Tourism Emergency Management Committee, the BC Regional Tourism Secretariat, Destination BC’s Tourism Marketing Committee, is a board member of BCDMOA and the Williams Lake Chamber of Commerce. Thacker believes the Cariboo Chilcotin Coast region holds untapped potential and unlimited opportunities for excellence.

Glenn Mandziuk –  Interim CEO

Glenn Mandziuk, former CEO of Thompson Okanagan Tourism Association, will be leading government relations and the CCCT role at the BCRTS, Destination BC and the Ministry of Tourism, Arts, Culture & Sport. Glenn brings his experience engaging with all levels of industry and government on social, environmental and business issues, most recently as President and Chief Executive Officer of Canada’s Thompson Okanagan Tourism Association (TOTA), with its 4,000 industry stakeholders. Glenn’s leadership, together with a motivated team, resulted in TOTA being recognized as a global champion of excellence and innovation in sustainable destination management and responsible industry development practices. In a first in the Americas, TOTA received the Responsible Tourism Institute’s Biosphere Gold Certification, in addition to the UNWTO Quest Certification for excellence in leadership, execution and governance capacities – only the third such recognition for a destination management organization in the world.

Beverly Evans –  Director of Business Development & Travel Trade

Beverly works with operators and wholesalers on developing the products, services, and routes that travellers want to explore in our region. Her responsibilities include working with operators who are currently “export ready”, meaning they’re ready for us to market their locations internationally, or to help operators get to that point. Beverly knows we live in a spectacular region with outstanding operators, and she knows how to communicate that to other overseas markets.

Sydney Redpath – Director of Marketing 

Sydney Redpath grew up in Prince George, BC and graduated with a double major in Finance & Marketing from the University of Northern British Columbia before joining the Cariboo Chilcotin Coast team. She is currently working on her Public Leadership Credential through the John F. Kennedy School of Government at Harvard University. Sydney has pursued her passions for entrepreneurship, marketing and leadership through various roles in industries ranging from wine & spirit, restaurant & hospitality, beauty & self-care, fundraising, academic development and event hosting. As Director of Marketing & Executive Secretary for the Cariboo Chilcotin Coast Tourism Marketing Association (CCCTMA), Sydney provides strategic direction and internal program execution to the regional Marketing Committee and CEO to ensure all marketing priorities get the attention they deserve. In her personal time, she enjoys adventuring with her two rescue dogs, Bella and Roo, and is voluntarily passionate about American politics.

Mackenzie Moore – Interim Director of Destination Development

Mackenzie Moore was born and raised in Williams Lake where she recently returned after spending a few years travelling, working, and studying her BA in Sociology between Kamloops and Calgary. Mackenzie first worked for the CCCTA as a summer student archiving over 50 years of regional tourism history, which gave her great insight and knowledge to support her work today. Currently Mackenzie is working as the interim Director of Destination Development where she works to strategically align industry partners and stakeholders with development opportunities and to foster responsible growth of the region, as well as one of two Tourism Emergency Managers for the province of BC. Mackenzie is a PADI certified open water diver and is passionate about regenerative travel, clean ocean initiatives, exploring new places, and sharing good stories.

Amber Stratton – Finance Manager

Amber was born and raised in the 150 Mile House area and is raising her family there today. She came to work at Cariboo Chilcotin Coast Tourism in August of 2018 as the Finance Manager and numbers ‘guru’. Amber supports the team in keeping budgets on track, manages the annual audits and prepares statements. In Amber’s spare time she enjoys gardening and escaping to the lake.

Jolene Lammers – Destination Development Manager

Jolene hails from the great white north. She has lived as far north as Whitehorse, Yukon. In her early teen’s her family moved to North Delta, BC. This entailed a journey down the infamous Alaska Highway. Jolene has seen much of British Columbia via car and boat. For the past 5 years she has lived in 108 Mile Ranch, BC and would not trade living there for anywhere else in the world. It is her pleasure to assist the CCCT in bringing tourism into this region as well as supporting the stakeholders. She holds an Associates Certificate of Applied Computer Applications from BCIT in Burnaby, as well as she has taken many courses towards an Associates Certificate of Applied Web Development. Work experience has been seen her in many roles in customer service, administrative support, web development, executive assistant, office manager and before her role in the CCCT she worked on the ground in tourism.

Rehan Siddiqui – Destination Stewardship Manager

Rehan has a MA in Tourism Management from Royal Roads University, Canada with 14 years of strategic global expertise in the tourism industry through collaborating with innovative strategies and a wider network of scope of tourism development. A conscious traveler who loves to connect with the people, explore local traditions, and an environmentalist, he has travelled around the world for business and R&R. Most notably he has travelled to China ,Canada, Egypt, France, Hong Kong, India, Iraq, Jordan, Kuwait, Malaysia, Macau, Switzerland, Saudi Arabia, Singapore, Turkey, Thailand, U.A.E. During his free time he loves to do research, bike and explore new destinations.

Geoff Moore – Travel Media & Film Manager

When media is looking for a story, Geoff is the one to talk to. Spearheading the media communications side of the association, Geoff’s responsibilities include talking with writers for blogs, tv shows, newspapers, and travel writers of all kinds on the legendary stories our region offers. His knowledge of the locals in our region has been built up over various careers which allowed him to get to know people, places and stories that seem endless.

Jonny Bierman – Social Media Coordinator

After building a foundation of experience in destination marketing through an education in tourism management from Vancouver Island University, and time spent at industry leading DMO’s, Jonny founded his own destination marketing business where he works with tourism products and destinations in content creation, digital and social media marketing, and various other consulting accessories. He is thrilled to have the opportunity to work with the Cariboo Chilcotin Coast Tourism in a part-time social media and content manager role so he can align stakeholder product and destination offerings with his experience to increase visitation and destination awareness.
