Stakeholder Surveys

The Municipal and Regional District Tax (MRDT) was introduced in the Cariboo Chilcotin Coast in May 2018 to provide funding for local and tourism marketing, programs and projects. The MRDT is applied to sales of short term accommodation provided in select areas of the Cariboo Chilcotin Coast and jointly administered by the Ministry of Finance; the Ministry of Tourism, Arts and Culture; and Destination British Columbia (DBC).
