Cariboo Chilcotin Coast Tourism Resiliency Program

The BC Tourism Resiliency Program is a long-term resiliency program providing BC tourism businesses with meaningful, one-on-one support to navigate the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic, adapt and work towards eventual recovery. The Cariboo Chilcotin Coast Tourism Resiliency Program provides support to our tourism stakeholders within the Region including all communities, hamlets and First Nations in the Great Bear Rainforest (Central Coast), Chilcotin, South Chilcotin, Cariboo, Gold Rush Trail, north Gold Country, and Interlakes areas. The Cariboo Chilcotin Coast Tourism team is working collectively to support our regional tourism businesses and not-for-profits as part of this program. Registering for the program directly connects you to one of our staff who will assist you in walking-through available resources and what support programs you may be eligible for. As needed, we will recommend you to expert help specializing in finance, legal and human resources. For more information and free access to resources and webinars, please click here. Program Ending January 31, 2022

The Tourism Resiliency Program has been available to work with the Tourism Businesses of the Cariboo Chilcotin Coast for nearly two years due to the ongoing challenges created in one way or another as a result of COVID. Over that period of time, the Advisors working in the program have shared important information regarding funding – grants and loans offered through the Federal and Provincial government; kept the latest information in a one resource format, issued in a timely manner so that there was one resource to be referenced – as we all know how difficult searching the internet that can be. We KNOW that the challenges have not gone away!

We understand that without the past two years ~ and often more due to the Wildfires and Flooding ~ income, and the chance to conduct your businesses as usual, that you still face incredible blockades. The Tourism Resiliency Program has been a funded program. Please reach out to us and share your success stories, your ongoing challenges, and any information that you would like to share about this program – good or bad. The Advisors have come to know you on a personal level, know your challenges and have directed businesses to the resources and information that would fit your individual needs and circumstances. We are still working with businesses on the grants and loans currently available.

Please reach out if your business or event needs assistance from our program advisors before January 31, 2022. Email advisor@landwithoutlimits.com.
